Terms of use.

A technical aid, not a guarantee

Redaction Proof helps identify selected PDF structures and create a cleaner copy. It does not provide legal advice, certify compliance, or guarantee that a document contains no sensitive information. You are responsible for visually and procedurally reviewing every file before disclosure.

License

The free edition may be used without an account. A Pro purchase grants one person a perpetual, non-transferable license to the unlocked features available in the purchased major version. Accessibility, core safety checks, sanitizing, and report export are not paywalled.

Purchases and refunds

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. The hosted checkout shows applicable tax and final price. Approved refunds revoke the related license automatically.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for disclosure caused by relying on the tool without appropriate human review. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Acceptable use

Use the app only on documents you are authorized to process. Do not use it to evade access controls or analyze unlawfully obtained material.
