Privacy, without fine print.

Your PDFs stay on your device

The desktop app reads, sanitizes, and hashes PDF files locally. It does not upload document contents, extracted text, filenames, hashes, or reports to us. Files are retained only where you choose to save them.

License data

If you buy or restore Pro, the app stores your license token and a dated verification result in local storage. Verification sends that token—not your PDF—to the Sociobot billing API. Sociobot/Dodo processes checkout as merchant of record under its own payment privacy terms.

Website data

The site contains no advertising trackers, analytics SDKs, third-party fonts, or behavioral cookies. Standard hosting logs may temporarily contain IP address, user agent, and requested path for security and reliability.

Your control

Delete the application’s local data to remove the cached license. Delete any sanitized PDFs and JSON reports from the locations where you saved them. Questions: privacy@sociobot.in.
